About Serlio
Sebastiano Serlio (1475-1554) was a renowned architect of the Renaissance. His most
enduring and influential contribution was an eight-volume illustrated handbook for
architects. The work, which presented practical solutions to common design
problems, was one of the most widely used architectural treatises of the early
modern period.
